I'd remove all the extra bits off and change the handle bars on that "L" model. There's a member here who has a 650L like yours...he loves it!

Appears to be an '82 850L.

I zoomed in on the side cover but the pic got distorted. (As for guessing 650L instead of 850)

Still a nice bike.

Airbox chrome is different shape and 650 only has one disk on front brake.

'81 850L looks virtually identical, but has the "snowflake" wheels.
'83 850L also looks the same, but would have black engine.
