Minor is a relative term. I assume the side overs and chain guard are keeping warm in your house. The whole front end is something new, but I was wondering - where is your battery?
1982 GS1100E V&H "SS" exhaust, APE pods, 1150 oil cooler, 140 speedo, 99.3 rear wheel HP, black engine, '83 red

2016 XL883L sigpic Two-tone blue and white. Almost 42 hp! Status: destroyed, now owned by the insurance company. The hole in my memory starts an hour before the accident and ends 24 hours after.

The battery is under the seat in the open space, right behind the rear brake fluid reservoir. Its a 12 cell anti-gravity battery

What did you end up at for main and idle jets?

That's a sweet list of mods man. Stopping and steering are something of a novelty in early 80s bikes Looks the goods; nice and minimal.

I believe they are stage 3 jets, but i'm not 100% sure. I have a carburetor guy that i always use, since every time i take them apart i always loose a piece.

Thank you! Stopping was my biggest concern, as the stock components are 35+ years old, i couldn't trust my life with those. Especially since i live down the street from Harriman State Park, those roads are too twisty and fun not too tear up.

I'm a very minimal guy, all i need is brakes and a motor, nothing fancy.
