    Maybe I wasn't paying that close attention, but I thought most L models were 8 valve engines. I knew there was a single year 1100L with the 16 valve engine, a friend had one for a while. I think this is the first 16 valve 750L I've ever seen!! Very cool!!

    I's thinking all 750's from "80" on were 16V.
    1983 GS1100E, 1983 CB1100F, 1991 GSX1100G, 1996 Kaw. ZL600 Eliminator, 1999 Bandit 1200S, 2005 Bandit 1200S, 2000 Kaw. ZRX 1100

      Yes, according to the homepage model info, the 16 valve GS 750 L model was made for ‘80, 81, 82. ‘79 too, but that would have been an 8v. But part seller sights like partshark only have the 16v L shown for ‘80, 81, no ‘82. So not sure which is right.
