 It's a 4 cylinder - probably a 550?Current:
Z1300A5 Locomotive (swapped my Intruder for it), GS450 Cafe Project (might never finish it....), XT500 Commuter (I know - it's a Yamaha )

 Past:
 VL1500 Intruder (swapped for Z1300), ZX9R Streetfighter (lets face it - too fast....), 1984 GSX750EF, 1984 GSX1100EF (AKA GS1150)
And a bunch of other crap Yamahas....

Only thing that I can say for sure, is that it is NOT a 450, 650 or 850.Originally posted by Rob S. View PostWhat motor is that?

450 and 650 have different cam end caps, 850 has a shaft drive.

look like a 750 frame, the front downtube crossmember is around the tubes unlike a 1000 frame.

Let me just tell you that you need to rebuild the shocks. Those things will not be completely full of oil, and they won't have much, if any N2 in the bladders. Once rebuilt, though, they work fairly OK.1979 GS550, 2003 R6, 1998 XR400 Dual Sport, 2004 V-Star.........

Decisions, decisions, what to ride, today.
