    Winds Of November

It's November 16th, I've got my annual sinus infection, my third day off from work. I moved the snow blower to the front of the garage yesterday and the Suzuki to the back, sad. That's just part of the change of seasons in upstate NY. Cold front is whipping through today, maybe some snow tonight.

Thanksgiving is next week, my son is in his second month of hockey, hard to believe this is the end of my first endless summer with my GS. From May 1st up until a week ago, it's been a riders season and a half. So on Thanksgiving, I need to give thanks for the great weather, for the riders that had a safe season, my prayers for the ones that weren't as lucky, for GSResources and the folks that helped me put together the GS and keep her running, and a Happy Thanksgiving to all that visit here.

Once the antibiotics kick in, it's time to start the cycle again. What I have to do to the GS over the winter. Let's see, fiddle with carbs some more, install chin fairing, oil cooler, repair gouge in the tail piece from snowblower handlebar(dumbass), and make her pretty and run fast for next May. Just some ramblings from up North entering another winter.

    Thanks,
    Chris

Yeah, Winter (OR Something) is coming here as well. Yesterday, Temps in the 70's with Tornados, Tonight, temps in the Upper 20's. I'm not putting the Bike away quite yet, still hoping for a few more Rides until Winter shows up about January. 8)

2001 KLR650 too pretty to get dirty

Life is a balancing act, enjoy every day, "later" will come sooner than you think. Denying yourself joy now betting you will have health and money to enjoy life later is a bad bet.

Went for a short spin yesterday and it was cool, 30 degrees. It's been in the mid teens here the last few nights. Fighting the urge to start working on the bike again, cause I know there will be more nice days to come. What a quandry this puts me in! Ray
