I recently lost the right side cover on the highway due to excessive cross winds. I retrieved the cover later on only to find that it had been smashed beyond repair. So now I am on the search for the Holy Grail of Suzuki Side covers. I do believe any model GS450 from 1981 to 1983 will fit my bike so if you see or hear anything shoot me a message/email...

Looks like there are a couple of different styles for the 450. They have them for about $40 at http://www.mrcycles.com. I've bought a lot of parts from these guys and they ship pretty quickly. Good luck! :-DComment

Beyond repair is relative. It is possible to weld plastic, and Bondo can do wonders where you can't find an original piece. You'll have to repaint whatever you get anyhow...
I've added wire ties to each side cover now...Comment
