    First adventure at the Dragon...

Me and some friends went to the Deals Gap aka The Dragon. It was my first time.We stoped at the store at the north end of the dragon to gas up.They were having a charity ride that day with a police escort. They asked if we were going on the ride ,we sade sure.Until we found out that they were not going for about an hour.So we said screw that we come all the way here to ride.So we took off.Well we got started through the curves and 2 of my friends were behind me and one in front.Well the one in front started kicking it through the curves, when all of a suden i heard a whoop whoop from a siren.I started looking back in my miror and saw my two friends and then 6 police bikes behind them.Holly crap! The friend in front and the 2 friends in the back pulled over before i new it,me being the rookie i did not pull over.So i had 4 to six copers on my tail the whole way through the Dragon. That sucked, the speed limit the whole way.
We reached the Deals Gap store and it was nothing but a big bike party.Wooho...Well my friends stayed on the Dragon and got lots of pics of their bikes to chose from on the KILL BOYS web site.So i decided to run back up through the dragon and get me some more pics of me my bike.
So i jumped on my bike and took off up the hill. All day everybody was kicking it up the hill.I said why not me.My bike runs good enough for it to.
So i took off through first gear 9thousand rpm 2nd gear twisted ,then POW!!!!! The throttle cable broke,so i coasted oit back down imbarased.

I then had to get my buddies together and hunt down tools, luckily we found some.We took off the throttle return cable and used it for a throttle cable. It worked better than the one that broke.

So the day ended ok...And it was the best ride of my life, and i cant wait to get back up there next weekend..

You have to at least ride the dragon one time in your life, just do it!

                Jethro,
The dark blue GSR is still hanging as of this past Saturday. Someone told me there is a second GSR shirt on the ceiling, but I didn't see it, the entire ceiling is covered with shirts now.

Nice to have met you James, it was a great weekend.

My first time last Friday morning...traffic was light...
Only had to pull over for one pair of bikes...(which got me a nice thumbs up)...
Other than that and oncoming, I had the road to myself...

Probably the most fun road I've ever driven...

Glad the CTS has the FE3 Sports Suspension...quite impressive actually...
Of course it would have been more fun on a bike...So call me jealous...
