So I decided this weekend that since it was going to be hazy, 95, humid and just plain unbearable in the afternoons I would do some much-missed late evening riding in the cool, moist air.
Thinking that that was the plan I decided to take the opportunity that afternoon to replace a few old-looking and questionable wires and put in the new battery that i had ordered a few weeks ago but had never put in.
* Just as a side note, my bike has such a funny-size battery that nobody around hear usually stocks it and I have to order it from JCW or somewhere. *
So when I got started on that stuff, I decided I would take the time to re-route some wires that the previous owner had carelessly routed. Then I decided to clean the electrical contacts, clean the plugs which hadn't been out in a while, spray-down and re-lube the chain, each task leading to one more...
Next thing I know, the weekend is gone and I've only put 50 miles on.
