    Recent 800 mile trip

Just got back off a 3 day & a bit trip. Nice riding. Max 300 miles a day. Stunning weather, stunning scenery, good company & food.... 2 bikes performing flawlessly, what more could you want?!

Rt 58 is an awesome road as is Rt 33. Painted Cave Rd is a lot of fun too. Mulholland highway to finish the trip... nice

I don't have too many pics (the other guy will have more but here's a couple):

Skunk with new fieldsheer bags mounted - nice but awkward to fill/empty as top zip only, wish it went all the way around or made a "U" shape... Also note "sheep" seat from Alaskan Leather, the BMW monkeys on ADV forum are right... they make a big difference!

Bit of high speed work from Rich... Not

Part of Rt 58 - wild flowers were in bloom... Monday am = no traffic, no cops = nice ride!

Looks like a great ride. And wow! Look at that wide open countryside! NO people, NO buildings, NO traffic.

I'll be dreaming about that the next time I dodge between two buses or ride in the gutter for two kilometers to escape the usual Japanese traffic jam.

                    Have fun!
