Every Wednesday evening all summer.
Is in open "plaza" downtown Grand Rapids (Michigan), starts early, like 6:30, play for a couple hours or so.
No charge.
Nationally known blues band each week.
Sponsered by a radio station and Budweizer.
Have a couple parking lots nearby for mo'cycles only. I started to go into one of those parking lots but looked like maybe get parked in, was pretty crowded.
And I found at least one long block of street parking for mo'cycles only (meters covered, cars get tickets).
THis week was Duke Robillard.
Was a couple food vendors. I had some great BBQ. THe BBQ vendor was singing along with the music.
Of the hundred bikes on the street and hundreds of bikes in the parking lots, most were V-Twin "bikers". Hum, now that I think of it, didnt see were all the "biker" folk went. THey were not many at the plaza. Must have gone to some of the many bars in the area, that also had bands playing later.
Just metioning this perchance some of the other west Michigan folks might want to organize a get-together some other Wednesday evening.
