            Looked to me like a novice rider who when starting to run wide (in his mind) looked up to see where he might potentially crash and in doing so stood the bike up (when he fixed on his target) and probably would have scored a bullseye if he hadn't washed out in the loose metal/dirt under brakes.

              Glad you got away with only a few scratches, so to speak. This vid shows how when a rider loses concentration of the road in front of him, He is looking elsewhere and even nods at someone a half second before he goes down, it doesn't take much.
