On our tiny Island, almost daily! It's crazy how many GS bikes are here!

I've seen one mid-80's GS750E around a few times, and the occasional beater "L," but other than that, nada save my own beast.

Gee, no GS sightings in months.
    Last photo was September.

I haven't even seen my own GS in months.
Well, have seen this blanket and sheet covering something in corner of garage, and have plugged a battery tender into something under there.
    Maybe another week or two....

Not spotted on the road but, sent to me by one of my Aussie friends. Perhaps someone down under recognizes this bike?

Our barber shop is old school cool, owned and ran by the founders son. The old chrome, porcelain and leather cushioned chairs are still in use (and quite comfortable). The Rider Magazine the ad was in was from this past October. I was quite surprised to see the GS. Grey Bruce is a tour in Canada....I looked them up trying to find the ad online after seeing it during my last haircut. I couldnt find it so i snapped a pic with my phone last weekend.

Interesting that the book in the add had a GS on front cover.

Interesting that your barber has Rider magazines.

Was the magazine and the book real old....?

Saw what I think was an 83 1100e on Rt 676 outside of Philadehia riding 2 up. They just pulled onto the highway, and boogied. I couldnt catch up in the work van.

Trev, not certain how to interpret that.

I suspect maybe a derogatory comment on chaps in general.
Or maybe you can evaluate good quality leather in a photo from a distance.
    Don't know.

Nah Redman, I was commenting on what I saw in Bonanzadave's post. I don't really have an opinion on chaps.

    Don't know.

FYI Three days that week, and 3 days the next week, I went though same intersection, at least twice a day, on bike, wearing leather chaps. Although brown.
Chaps from about 1985. Brown, to match brown leather jacket of then.
Chaps maybe not as good weather protection, not as good pavement surfing protection as current armored textile pants I now also have, the chaps roll up better for storage on bike while going around town during the work day.

    Dave.

Did you ask him what he was doin riding your bike?
