On my drive home today I saw a 750T in the wild in the land of milk and honey (Bernardsville NJ). It looked well used, but all there and good looking with its original black and grey tank. I gave the rider the thumbs up, but he didn't see. I was happy to see an ole GS out and about.

        That's cool!
I saw a 750T a few years ago in Espanola, NM. Nice looking too. These days you're more likely to see an old Honda CB, Yamaha XS or KZ, but they're usually cut up, bobbed out or cafe'd to an almost unreecognizable degree.

          Joe's sighting in Hawaii

Considering he found it withering away on an island it’s in pretty good shape!

Thanks Dave, I forgot there was a thread for that. That bike was by Koko Kai Beach Park on O'ahu. The owner found it 'abandoned' on the island. The PO couldn't get it running, apparently it just needed the points cleaned or something. It looks pretty good, especially for an island bike. Although I can't imagine riding on 35 year old shocks...

              A3F8885E-AFA2-41C9-9A2A-EB3482E8BCE4.jpg GS sighting in Muskegon.
saw it from a distance as passing bye. Came back that way later and was still there.

I guess it to be an 81.
can’t tell so much from the picture, but standing there could see was all original paint, and all there (except headlight , t/signals).
Paint and striping only a little faded. But is all original.

while I was there a guy stepped out.
he said this was his shop that he works on bikes and other stuff. Siad he is retired and does hobby stuff there too. Said the bike was a friends of his that doesn’t ride much anymore, bike had been parked for a couple years. He got it running so friend can let other family members use it. He was stepping out for the day, but invited me to stopp in anytime and see if he was there. Which I think I will do (but don’t go to Muskegon much.)

I mentioned GSResources a couple times be he didn’t seemed interested.

he said owner kept side panels so didn’t loose them in the trailer transit.

                wow! almost 2 years since last post of a "sighting". . . . . .

I saw this downtown here (Grand HAven MI) on a ride this evening.

                .
I am thinking 1981 (based on the striping colors).

I stopped to get a quick picture. Didnt walk around looking for who might be owner.

                  Where I've been Riding

Rode up to Muskegon Bike Time.
Tens and tens of thousands bike. Entire H-D dealer (something of a small mall in itself) multiple parking lots ....
                    .. and

8-9 blocks of downtown blocked off to cars and full of bikes on both sides of the street and row down center line. (pic is about 3 blocks of it)
I like to ride thru once, then find place to park, walk around, get something to eat at a food vendor, and leave.
Its only about 20 miles away, I would not go any much further for such.

                    Yah, 98+ percent Harley/Victory.

Saw a Honda 150?Dream? ride thru, thought maybe was GregGS750.
Saw a few old Hondas, Ksaki and Yami. Nice XS11.

                    Friday evening Saw this GS450T

I actaully thought that this would suit me better that the shadow500... but, gee, looks so nice I would not want to take it out in the winter.

                    .

                      Muskegon Bike Time Saturday evening

Made me think that I should see if I could print some more GSR calling cards.

                        Muskegon Bike Time Saturday evening

I looked down the road, and saw a familiar looking fairing approaching, and had time to get camera ready.

Hey! I think this could be the GK I saw there a couple years ago.

. I am quessing that to be a homemade replacement windscreen.

Hum... all there GS sightings were 1982s.

Look at the lovely () tatoos. And the cigarette! Shouldn't that be a Hardly?
The only real way to enjoy (smoking) tobacco is on a moving motorcycle. Although, if you're chewing, you could be spitting at bystanders...or directly into the wind!

Any 'burn out' contests? (Where the front wheel is chocked, and every contestant proceeds until at least the rear tire is destroyed.) Because there's nothing like destroying your own prized possession. I wonder what percentage results in only a rear tire destroyed? As opposed to also a wheel. And/or engine. And...

I just love large gatherings ... (where The Beatles aren't performing live).

Pretty sure that's a GS850GN waiting to be put back together at the end of the latest FortNine.
