"who has the best bike storage/garage" contest. What'cha think?
Well I couldn't enter but I'd sure have a shot for the Messiest Garage. Yeah, bring 'em on I might as well add "jealousy and envy" to my ever growing list of faults.

Nice touch with the carpet Trev but methinks it'll get soiled quickly with your dirty workboots. Oh silly me, I see we change into slippers before taking our Earl Grey and scones as we contemplate which spanner to twirl first.

            I call hoax.
            A real working shop won't have a grinder/polisher beside the CD storage/stereo.

Lol...It's not ideal that's for sure. I have to put a piece of cardboard between the two when using the grinder.

If it does, then the CD player won't be working for long (ask me how I know)

                    Trevor,

I like mixing Suzuki's and BMW's in the garage too!

That's a great garage and a wonderful partner who helped you get it. You mentioned she was smart, funny and beautiful. I would add, and generous.

Thanks for sharing the story and best wishes to you both.

                    Chris

I took a few pics of my rudimentary carpet laying (father and mother in law took some out of their rental property and gave it to me) last night.
My little sanctuary is coming along.

What bike do you have hidden under the cover there?

Ll...that's an 82 GS750e. I got it as a parts bike for a $100 shortly after buying my 80 750. It was not running when I bought it but it's got plenty of good parts. My plan was to get it running but it has more value to me as a parts bike. Even used the stator out it for my 750, paid for it's self right there.
All the bits are there, good tank, side covers etc.

Check out the water in the headlight..
