    Help in Redmond, Oregon...

    Hey all,

There is a GSX1100G in Redmond, Oregon that I want really badly. The only trouble is, I live in Ann Arbor, MI, and the seller does not trust the whole remote payment scenario (Paypal, etc), or the U-Ship scenario. He will only sell to someone in cash, in a face-to-face transaction. So is there any member who lives anywhere Redmond who would be willing to be my stand-in? It's worth $$ to me (up to a point) to find someone who is willing and able to do this for me.

As they say........ when there's a will, there's a way.

I know Barry(Oregonjake) lives in OR, but it's near the coast. I thought that bike was being given to his grandson.

In case you don't see the other post.
I'm still interested in the fairing if you want it gone.

Yeah I found Barry by looking him up on Google Earth, and sent him a PM. Don't know what kind of response I'm going to get from him, but it never hurts to ask I suppose.

And yes, as of last weekend, the seller had decided to give it to his grandson, but apparently that plan has changed. I'm hoping to make a purchase before he changes his mind again.

Barry's at least 5 hours away, and I'm about 4 hours on a good day (no snowy mt passes, like now)
You have to remember that Oregon is one of the larger states

Wire the money to me...I have a new Nigerian prince relative that has too much cash. He will take care of everything.....Just Kidding! If it was closer I would try to help! This group is great in helping fellow members out, especially when buying a bike is involved!
