Not really a crash, just a stupid Boo Boo

From Liberty hill rd., had to cross a small stream with appx. 1" of water running over a concrete slab, to get over to Fouston Hollow rd. Why did I think I should go over to Fouston Hollow anyway, either would have came out with in 3 mi. of the same place & we were just out riding anyway. The slime on that concrete was slicker than owl snot, just easing across at maybe 3 mph. & both feet dragging, my 1100E slipped out from under me before I knew what was happening. Concrete was so slick, we had trouble standing & trying to get the bike back up. No major damage, chrome ring on Train light, sticker on ign. cover brake lever, & pride, dang this is embarrassing, I didn't need to go over the creek anyway. I've known for ever how slick the slime is where water is running over flat rocks or concrete, Looking back I guess my brain just got stuck for a min. Just say'in, if you come up on a place like this, don't try to cross if there are other options.

Naw, me on my "83" 1100E & my buddy on his "83" CB1100F, nobody hurt, except my feelings. I can't do pictures or video's, me, nor my old flip phone, are capable. Wish you were right, & it never happened, just a bad dream.

Ugh, that sucks. We've all been there though. Ok, maybe not everyone, but I have ridden my 1150 down some ridiculous dirt and gravel mountain roads that it had no buisness being on.

        Glad you're ok.
