Make bets on how high it will go

I don't know how to make a clickable poll, but it should be interesting if someone else wants to do one and delete this thread.

I am guessing 5 to 6k since it is a bunch of rich folks bidding.

Me too!! Looks like an unrestored survivor. A few things not totally correct or needing attention but looks very decent.

What'd you see Sandy. The 1100, probably rust on bottom of right muffler, if dirt or tar they would have cleaned it off before picture. The seat didn't fit right, just as mine don't after installing new cover and pulling it a little too tight... The 1000 wrong bars, mirrors, and seat, all easily getting back to OEM. Both really nice ain't they?

Also, my gs1000's always had pin striping on the seat skirt

Been too long, just can't remember all that stuff. Reasonably sure my "79" 1000 "S" the seat skirt was all white

LH fork dust cover rotted off, probably needs fork seals and a bunch of other rubber bits, no engine emblems and something funky with clutch release lever (on engine case), looks to be on the wrong angle and a big washer under the bolts for some reason. Non stock seat cover. Non stock mirrors, All relatively easy fixes but could keep it’s value down. A few chassis paint wear marks here and there points to it being most likely an original unrestored survivor which could be plus in it’s favour.
