Oh **** this is the first I heard of it! Sorry Bill - I didn't know Eric half as well as you but he seemed to be a great bloke. Extremely helpful & welcoming. I'm still running his wheel here on the skunk.... He was also a talented machinist / fabricator but I know he was struggling with pain on more than off & couldn't ride or work when it was bad

I'm very sorry for your loss, Bill. You have my condolences.
It's the ultimate mystery - we can never really know why.1982 GS1100E V&H "SS" exhaust, APE pods, 1150 oil cooler, 140 speedo, 99.3 rear wheel HP, black engine, '83 red
2016 XL883L sigpic Two-tone blue and white. Almost 42 hp! Status: destroyed, now owned by the insurance company. The hole in my memory starts an hour before the accident and ends 24 hours after.Comment

Such a sudden and shocking loss Bill, I'm really not sure what to say. My thoughts are going to both you and his.Comment

I will be helping his widow by auctioning off his 1150 plus all the extra parts.
I do believe I will have to install the motor but he just put a busa front end and nice rear sets on the bike. Not stock but he was a machinist and fabricator so things will be right. He also has the stock parts.
I will do this when Heather is ready to deal with this mess.Comment
