    Club Laverda Queensland Concours 2013

The Club Laverda Queensland Concours was held today down at Cleveland here in sunny Brissie, had a great day.

Hot, sunny, and glorious winter's day, fun ride over Mt Glorious and Mt Nebo before meeting the rest of the troupe at Rocklea, then off down to the show. I think we managed to catch every red light on the way down...

We ended up with 4 Kats, a Trumpy, Gixxer Guy's Gixxer, and my wee 450... and met a couple of others down there as well.

One of the Katana Australia member's Kat was entered by his dad in his absence so didn't get to meet him, but man that thing is mint! Love the Moto GP Works pipe on it too, very nice note...

Thought I had a few shots of Paul's immaculate GT380 but I only have one which is disappointing... very clean!

This Kat is raced here by a fella called Leo Cash, very nice and a nice Tranzac pipe on it too (same guy who made my pipe).

Some random bikes throughout the show that took my eye...

The new 1.7L VMax is pretty tasty:

Spotted a GSX250, not a bad effort... nice to see something at least close to my 450 in there!

    Interesting Monkey!

On to the bike parking and it was a little disappointing this year compared to last, not many interesting bikes to see for me, except that there was a GS450 there! Normally the bike parking is as entertaining as the show...

And the best looking CX500 I've ever seen:

        A "street fighter" GSX:

And the only Kat in the park not with us and it's for sale:

All in all a great day, and I've got the red (burnt) face and neck to prove it was bloody hot... had to do the girlie thing and stick some moisturiser on earlier otherwise I won't be able to put the helmet on in the morning!

I love 3 cylinder Laverdas. Beautiful castings on the motor.

Nice pics of nice bikes. Thanks, Pete.
Any chance you have another pic/info of the 07 Laverda in the background?

Cheers guys, had a great day and was nice to see all that machinery in the bright blue skies

Steve, unfortunately not but one of the other guys took shots as well so I'll see if he has any.

What a great day of riding. So many nice bikes. The Kat all shined up with the wire wheels looks fantastic!

                    Yep, great day indeed!

Aaron who owns that Kat should be bringing it to our big ride this Saturday so I'll get to say g'day and see it up close again.

This time I should be able to hear those pipes properly in action rather than just a few blips on the stand

+1: Great Pictures, I am amazed by how well the motorcycles are maintained on the other side.

I know I see a Laverda 750 Sport twin, not sure about a triple unless that is 07 in the back. I have also never seen a green & white Ducati Hailwood either

I believe there were some triples there, but up in a separate undercover section just for the Laverda's.

For some reason even though it's the Laverda show I never seem to remember to actually get shots of them... will try next year!
