    Anacortes Oyster Run

Any PNW\BC guys going this Sunday? Lots of Harleys but the occasional cool bike. http://oysterruninc.org/
I am meeting a local at his home in Anacortes about 10, then a ride up Chuckanut Drive before circling back to the festivities. Let me know if you want to meet up....

not this year.... spending quality time with the mixture screws and needle shims instead. Perhaps 2017.....

Sorry I didn't see this earlier. I went. Almost all Harleys. I saw zero 80's GS bikes. My 1100 was pretty lonely.

I must have missed your 1100. I was hanging around the Bandidos recruiting tent Honestly, a big contingent looking for new Probies. Right next to the Honores doing the same. The local chapter had bad legal issues a few years back. No Hell's Angels that I saw. It was like the Harley national convention. Nonetheless, a must do for a PNW resident at least once. And Jack's wife fed us homemade pork chili and jalapeno cornbread. Best I've ever had.... The cops were VERY busy, must have had a contest going on. Some idiot hooligan passed me ON THE RIGHT going 60+ faster than I was. Scared the crap out of me, I let him know what I thought when he pulled over to wait for his other idiot friends.

I spent a good part of the summer of 1983 and the summer of 1985 working at the shipyard in Anacortes. Kind of a cool place. One of my old friends lives there.

I wouldn't cross the street to eat an oyster though.
