    1977 GS 750 Rubber Spacers

I am in the process of putting a motor back together and I noticed that most of the rubber spacers between the cooling fins on the cylinder head are missing. I am assuming that they are for vibration damping I have looked around for them and cant even find a part number does anybody know if they make that much of a difference?

    Thank You

On parts fisch for "77" GS750 cyl. head, #19, rubber pad... PN11152-38A00, there should be 18 needed to be back to orig...$3.36 ea.... I've never replaced one, and rarely see one. Most were sprayed away while washing... I think I've heard they were for noise vibration dampening.
