    What happened to signatures?

I was away from the site for a long period, in the middle of which the site was upgraded. I don't have any issues with the upgrade itself, but I did notice that I can't seem to find any place to set my signature, nor do I see signatures attached to user's posts that I'm sure had them.

Are the signatures gone, or am I going crazy and just can't find the right thing to click?

    In order to see signatures:

Go to the top right of the page and pull down at your username. Go to My Profile, then Edit Settings, then the Account tab. Scroll down till you see this and check the box. Make sure to click the Save Changes button. Then you should be able to see members' signatures.

You also have to be looking at POST view. Not LATEST ACTIVITY, which doesn’t show signatures.

on PC or tablet, look here:

        on mobile, look here:

Quick reply! I just found the link now... directly below the "Show Signatures" check box... "Edit Post Signature" below the check boxes threw me off... Thanks and apologies for the dumb-out!

When I attempt to edit my signature, I get a message that states " Signatures cannot be over 150 characters", even when I am trying to edit to a shorter signature???

I just want to remove a listed bike and I cannot do it.

Oh well, I'm for sure not going to buy another Goldwing, signature or not!

There's been trouble with signatures recently. Frank got it sorted so they at least show up now with the links like before but wasn't sure of the cause. But apparently there's still an issue.

From what I can see, the recent updates to the forum code implemented size restrictions to signatures so that they don't end up being War & Peace novels. In the older versions of the software there were no such restrictions. So you can have a older signature that has more than 150 characters and things will still work. But as soon as you edit it the sig is then checked for the 150 char limit and if it's bigger it will fail. That's what's going on there.

There is also a restriction where HTML can't be used in a signature because HTML is a security risk. So to format text you have to use BBCode instead. It is similar to HTML but the syntax is slightly different. You can search online to dig up the BBCode syntax for the thing you are trying to do since the help system of the forum software seems to be no help there.

So no images in our signatures either?
                          And only 4 lines!??
