    Throttle valve stuck

    Hi guys,
i have disassembled all my carbs to give them a deep clean.
bike has been sitting for 10 years so, i want to clean everything.
The throttle calve and pun assembly should just slide out from the top but, i my case all of them are stuck and all i get is a little springy feedback when i try to pull but the calves are not sliding at all.
am i missing something here or i need to spray some carb cleaner to loosen them up ?

    cheers

Put a heat gun on the carb body, where the slides...slide. This helps soften the varnish holding the slides. Get them good and hot, then use a wood/plastic tool, and lift the slides up from the carb throat side. This works 90% of the time.

      Thanks mate,
used some carb cleaner and then inox lubricant, pried with a plastic tool as you said and one came off.
