    Gs1000s chain guard

    Hi guys new to this.
just bought a 1979 gs1000s and need a chain guard.
Wondered would a gs750 chain guard fit as they look very similar.
    Thanks Shaun

There are many parts sellers (Bike Bandit, Partzilla) who display the original Suzuki parts fiche. If they share the same part #, they're the same.

Welcome aboard! We'd love to see pics of your ride.

2016 XL883L sigpic Two-tone blue and white. Almost 42 hp! Status: destroyed, now owned by the insurance company. The hole in my memory starts an hour before the accident and ends 24 hours after.

I's say there's better than a good chance this will work.
According to the fiches on partshark.com, the '79 1000S originally had same part number as all of the same year 750s for the Chain Guard (CASE). Both have new, but different part numbers that supersede the old.

      '79 1000S"

All of the '79 750 models:
