    Likes, and who gives them?

    Admin friends.... dpep administrator

It is totally cool we now have a "Like" button. We've asked for years, and now we have one, so thank you all.
But, I have to ask, why does this forum keep the identities of the one who "Likes" secret?
Should we not see who is liking our comments?

I've wondered that too. On my forum we show them. Being a member of this forum, I can understand why they don't.

              Bob, I like this posting.

And I do sometimes "like" a post, but it requires that I logg in, which sometimes I dont do, so......

It's right there.... You have to like it to unlike it though... you can't just unlike it. Negatives aren't allowed these days, everyone gets a medal just for turning up....

I like that comment SMonk. A forum for adults should have an unlike button.

A forum for adults probably shouldn't have "like" or "unlike: button, kinda 9 year old girl stuff, next thing y'all be sending each other valentine's cards...lol

But for real and joking aside, half of the forums I visit don't have like or unlike button

Half do, and the ones that do show names ?

If you're wanting to know who liking and or what to know, do like ive seen a few people do....simply say you liked the post???

I've hit the "like " button on few that I really didn't like, just cause I thought it might make someone's day to get a "like" lol

Gs resources could also do like this one forum I visit, you get points for participating.
so many points for giving a like, so many points for receiving a like.

So many points for starting a thread, so many point for posting in threads.
So many points for how Many post your thread gets...sure there are other ways to get points...then there is a place to go see who the points leaders are and stats..???

I don't know what the rewards are for leaders, or what prize is for winner at end of years?
