Hello Fellow enthusiasts. I have been looking for a tank for my 82 Gs650gl. I found a nice one from an 82 gs300l. Does anyone have an idea if that would come close to fitting with minimal adjustments? Thanks in advance!

The tank from the 300 looks to be a little small for the gs650. Does anyone have experience swapping tanks on the 650? Are there other years or models that would be closer to fitting? -
I've got pretty nice tank for a 650G, no internals or petcock.. If you can fabricate a mount for the front rubber bumper things, you might be able to make it work. I've seen and have drawings of how to fit an 1100 G tank on an L. Maybe, possibly, it would work for a 650?Roger
