    Photo uploads

Excuse my ignorance, but I'm trying to upload a picture of my bike for sale. I keep getting notifications that the file exceeds the 2mb limit. My Pic is 2.3mb and I don't know how to reduce it.
    Thanks.

I had the same problem from the phone. I had to use my camera and try different sizes till forum would accept them.
My main bitch is that before the forum upgrade a while back we could link up to 10 pics a post. Now its one which takes forever for things like rebuild threads. I wish admin could reset that quota so we can get back to the old set up.

I would rather trust my bike to a "QUACK" that KNOWS how to fix it rather than a book worm that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix it.

This site has always limited photos to one per post. If your photos are hosted off sight, at Flickr for example, you can link more than one photo per post, though.

Regarding resizing, the common Window's Photo app has a feature to resize images. Click resize by percentage, and play around to get the photo under the size limit. If you are on a phone, I have no clue, though.

Posting photos uploaded and hosted on this site has always been one-per. And it can be a frustrating process of trying to resize your photo to fit. I just tried, using the Resize It App on my phone. After several failed attempts, I gave up.

You’re probably not going to bother sticking around after selling your bike, but if you are, there is a better way. For the OP, Chuck, or anyone else interested in posting BBCode links to pics hosted elsewhere, so that you can display full-size and/or multiple pics, I’ve written a thorough tutorial of how to do this. Follow this link, go to post # 6. https://www.thegsresources.com/_foru...m-I-just-lame=

        Multiple, big pics.

I haven’t checked the limit lately, but I believe you can post 10 this way, then you can actually go back and edit your post and add more.
