PM notifications

    PM notifications

    I use the PM messaging system a lot and get close to the maximum amount allowed often. I noticed the percent notification that used to show up does not. Did we lose that feature or did the limit rise?

      No, it's still there.

      It's on my gripe list, though.



      Now, you have to find the "Private Messages" area to get to it, then scroll ALL THE WAY TO THE BOTTOM to see the same information that used to appear at the top of virtually every page you visited.





      By the way, to find the "Private Messages" area, click on FORUM in the upper left, not "What's New?".
      You will then see "Private Messages" just below that.

      As far as I know, the limit has not changed. It is still 75 total messages, unless you have "Site Supporter" next to your name, then the limit is 100. If you happen to support the site annonymously, your limit remains at 75.

          yes we did...
          i tried to reply to you for a day but i kept getting a nag that i had to empty my box..then it said that your box was full..lol
          a red area used to show to let us know to start deleting messages.(almost full).

              Inbox contains 14 messages. You have 28 messages stored, of a total 75 allowed. (Empty Folder)
