Something weird is happening when I click the reply button on the top of a thread. It pulls in the last few post quotes I replied to and I have to go back and delete those quotes prior to hitting the post reply button.

Have you tried the "Quick reply" window at the bottom? :-l
That's the one I use, unless I am quoting someone. After all, it's right there, at the bottom, just below the post you are probably answering.
