How do I make my pics larger in my posts, as in fit the posts page size? Sorry for being thick, I grew up using a chalk and slate......!Tags: None -

I'd like to figure out how to make the page larger. Pics used to fill the screen.
Anyone know if that's possible? To expand the page? I see three inches of blank margin on both sides when using my PC.Roger

Roger, are you using Flickr? There are several sizes you can select when selecting your photo to copy elsewhere.Larry

The first one was a medium, second one was a large, and the third was selected to be even larger than the second one.
Edit:. They all look like the same size on my tablet. IDK??????

Larry, the sizes on Flickr are file sizes, which is based on the resolution. Generally the photos expand to fit the space, unless the resolution is real low, like 640 long edge.
Generally on the forum, 1024, 2048 or even full size, will all fit the window about the same.
For this forum I use 1024 pixals for my max side, although on my photo forums I'll use 2048.

Full size (2048 x 2048 which is the size I uploaded)

What Roger is asking about, I think, is the PAGE size, not the picture size, and the 3" of white space to the left and right of the meat of the forum page's info. I also seem to remember that the forum used to fill the page to whatever width you set your browser window. I don't see any way in settings to change this. It will adjust the text as you adjust your browser window smaller past the margins.

Larry, yes, I use Flickr. That software hasn't changed, it's the forum page.
Rich, you nailed it! The grey margin on both sides.
I logged in on my PC with an Acer monitor that's 20" wide. Forum page is 12-1/2" wide leaving about 3-3/4" blank on both sides.
Logged in on my Lenovo laptop with a 13-5/8" wide screen. The forum page is 11-7/8" wide leaving only 13/16" on the sides.
I used to stick with the 1024 size or even smaller if need be. 2048 was huge and it's annoying to have to scroll around to see the entire image. Now it doesn't seem to matter if I post the 2048 or even original which is 4608.

So simple for the ones who know... what buttons to push & so confusing for the ones who don't know...what buttons to push.1983 GS1100E, 1983 CB1100F, 1991 GSX1100G, 1996 Kaw. ZL600 Eliminator, 1999 Bandit 1200S, 2005 Bandit 1200S, 2000 Kaw. ZRX 1100Comment

Do you know how we learned what buttons to push?
You just keep pushing buttons until something happens. Stop. And repeat.
It's really not anything but stubbornness...
