77 GS750 Mikuni Carb Rebuild Service

Hi,

I have a 77 GS750 ad was thinking of sending the carbs our for a professional rebuild. I found a couple of sources on ebay for about $400.00 but there is no a lot of feedback on their service can anybody suggest a good shop that specializes in vintage carb rebuilding

A few guys on the forum offer this service. Don't know what they charge, but probably not $400. There are others, but Nessism (Ed Ness) is one that I know has offered this service to folks and has good feedback. If you've been on BikeCliff's Website, Ed wrote the book (1 of 2, anyway) on rebuilding the CV (BS) Carbs). So he know's what he's doing. Pretty sure he works on VM Carbs (yours) as well. If he doesn't chime in here, look him up under Community / Member list and send him a PM.
