As corny as it sounds the Brotherhood of the GS is very real.
So sorry for your loss, Josh.

        Josh,
Thinking of you today Bro. I'll say a prayer tonight for your mom, and one for you too. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help out.

Josh, please accept my deepest condolences. Losing a parent is terrible.

Ride hard and often... It is great therapy!

I feel especially terrible for both of my brothers. Truth be told, technically they are half brothers I guess. I have a different biological father than they. But,my bio dad and my mother split when I was around three years old. She married my brothers father when I was five. He pretty much raised me as his own from then until they divorced in '95. My brothers (who are both eight years younger than me) lived back in Redondo Beach, California with him, until HE suddenly passed away in winter of '96. I never got to say goodbye to him either. But now, my poor brothers have neither parent left, save for Bob. He has no children of his own, but he has treated us like we are since day one. I have a lot of respect for that man, and God bless his aching heart. Such a strange world. How a man that could just as easily have been a stranger became the man we look to as our surrogate father. I'm not the most religious of people, but I do believe in God. And there is definitely a plan in place for us all. We may not always agree with it, but somehow, everyone has a place and a purpose.
Forgive me for blabbing away... Just lots to think about.. Helps to get it out somehow... And sometimes it's easier to type than speak...

So sorry to hear of your loss Josh. It was far too young and far too sudden. Quite often life just doesn't seem fair and I'm sure this is one of those times. In time the pain will go away but the thoughts of her and the good times won't, there not supposed to. I lost my mother 25 years ago and my father 12 years ago and a day doesn't go by when I don't still think of them in some small way. Take time for yourself and those close to you, nothing else matters right now.

Whatever you need, we're here for you, Pal. Typing it out is healthy and good, if that's what works for you, and for those of us who care about you it's an opportunity to try and help take a little of the burden off ... and we're happy to do so, brother!

                      Peace,

I just can't imagine what you're going through. I'm terribly sorry for your loss. My thoughts go out to you and your family. As was said, type it out. We're here and sometimes (nearly) strangers are easier to talk to than those closest to us.

Josh, I'm terribly sorry for your loss. I can not say anything that hasn't already been said by others on here that can say it much better than I. But please know that I'm sending my sincere condolences and prayers to you and your family.

Celebrate her life with the good memories you have.

You are not babbling at all. Everything you say hits close to home and is crystal clear.

If you need help relaxing take a benadryl. It will help you sleep too and is harmless. You need to sleep.
