Earl's last post on the site was Sept 28th just a couple of hours before Ian Moved into central Florida dumping voluminous amounts of water. I fear he may have had to deal with a very high water situation around his home. If so we should not expect him to be posting or even responding to messages for quite some time. Don't ask me how I know.Believe in truth. To abandon fact is to abandon freedom.

I'm fine Don. Just doing some "house cleaning". Today is my first day of being able to take a day off. lolOriginally posted by dpep View PostEarl's last post on the site was Sept 28th just a couple of hours before Ian Moved into central Florida dumping voluminous amounts of water. timebombprod Ian (the member) is another Florida native who hasn’t checked in that I’m aware of. Anyone else in Ian’s (the hurricane) path that we should be concerned about?Links

What one would expect, lots of water and winds gusting to maybe 80 mph. Water was 11 feet in a few small local areas, but it was due to run off, not storm surge. I have a lot of oaks and the amount of broken branches and debris is incredible. I was really lucky. I doubt there is anything in Brooksville that would still be standing if we had 150 mph winds.and 15 feet of water.Originally posted by dpep View Post
