    Another Friday afternoon safety meeting field trip!

    Steve has been to a few safety meetings and he was here last Friday when I hit him up to give us a tour of some of his collection...so yesterday we did the tour....The last place we toured was great with very high end cars...but we all agreed this tour seemed a bit more special.

        Those two Kawasakis - WOW! '78 KZ1000 Z1-R and ('72? '73?) Mach IV H2 750! WOW! WOW WOW!

        Big, important bikes.
        1982 GS1100E V&H "SS" exhaust, APE pods, 1150 oil cooler, 140 speedo, 99.3 rear wheel HP, black engine, '83 red

        2016 XL883L sigpic Two-tone blue and white. Almost 42 hp! Status: destroyed, now owned by the insurance company. The hole in my memory starts an hour before the accident and ends 24 hours after.

          I knew those two bikes would catch your attention...the 750 has Mikuni Flatslids he bought it last year in Ontario for $20,000cdn

            Thanks for the smiles. Throughout the '70's, Kawasaki was IT. Right up until my last ride on my Z1 in Dec. '89, the big Kaw commanded respect.

                    He has most of my favorite cars there. Mini Cooper, 911, Lotus 7. Was that a Tiger I saw? An Ace as well?

                      ……….some of his collection. Trevor, I’m convinced you are friends with James Bond villians, and that white Lotus does turn into a submersible.

                        My first job in 1974/5 was at a Lotus dealership. Drove a bunch of 'em from that era. I even owned one for a while.

                        Needless to say, I still love them.

                          I grew up building and racing various British (and German) cars. Always wanted a Lotus 7 and loved Peter Egan's writings on them.

                            That indeed was a Tiger and an Ace....I think the Tiger was my favorite car there....I just love those cars. I liked the 911 a lot too

                              The Tiger was a poor man's Cobra. Not as nice in handling, but a real he-man sports-car. So cool!
