No Rob, You can't sound like me till you start eating dinner at dinner time and supper at supper time. No clue how ya'll got that so confused. Thinking, possibly never knew about the Lord's Supper nor the "Dinner" bell.

Glad Mahan got walloped as I just can't like him, don't know if it's his looks, his prissy little walk, or maybe his talent plus his excessive amount of luck, making him seem he thinks he's better than others, I am just always against him. By far the best non football performances was the lady singing the Black National Anthem, No clue who she was but a really great performance. I didn't understand anything about the half time show, nor who that guy was, just saw he had a slight physical disability, as it was hard for him to stand up straight, through most of the show he was slightly squatting or slightly kneeling. Not being my kind of music probably had me left out. I never like folks changing our National Anthem, sing it as it was supposed to be, put your personal stuff in your own music, but leave the National Anthem alone... No great commercials, My favorite Superbowl commercial was the Google Pixel 9 commercial, very thoughtful and meaningful. I was hoping for something better from the Clydesdale horses, they were OK but nothing special. By far, the best commercial I saw all day was not from the Superbowl, it is of an ostrich leaving home to make his way in the world, his parents hollering say'in you can't make it, you're only a flightless bird. Then shows him 5 yrs. later after he made a big name for himself selling insurance... Football's over, so I guess Nascar, starting tonight, will have to get me through till next Aug. when the NFL preseason cranks back up.... Still amazed at the lack of Superbowl posts here, Locally everybody we see was talking about it.
Got to agree with you on just about every little thing. Change one half of one syllable on the national anthem and you're on my shyte list for life. The only thing I know of (Lamar?) or (Drake?) is a gag pulled on Michael Che by Colin Jost. As you described his halftime performance (which I refuse to watch even with the sound off), couldn't help think of the old Darwin type illustration showing primates getting larger and walking more upright as we evolved. I have zero interest in and even less respect for those who promote de-evolution.

Didn't even know there was a 'black national' anthem. And I dislike P. Mahomes. Severely. (Seen his wife?).

Damn! I'm startin' to sound like you! And I've hardly ever been south of the Mason-Dixon line.

A little late to the party... but I created and shared this with my friends before the game for a chuckle.

I turned off the sound at half-time, after listening for the first half of the show. Hard pass...

Dang that triggered a memory of the song Dropkick me, Jesus, through the goalposts of life...... Bobby Bare never made it to a halftime show tho.

    what a fantastic game

that hip-hop / rap (?) music is not my jam. Didn't pay attn during the broadcast b/c was too excited 'bout the Chiefs getting their yadda yadda yadda

yesterday I put the headphones on and watched that halftime show. (just for kicks) HOLY CHIT!! it was immediately obvious what an incredible 'show' it was. Went off without a hitch and Samuel Jackson and Serena Williams was hilarious.

again, not my cuppa tea musically ... but easily one of the greatest halftime shows ever!

yea, can't wait for the next stanley cup when a bunch of Ice-capade fairies are skating around chasing a rock you can't even see on the TV screen. good times

Nah...we watched it all. Didn't understand what a powerhouse the Eagles defense was. Jezzz. The first have the just took over.
Even though it was a blowout, it was still a good watch. I always NFL football, especially playoff football.
Heck I even pay for the Sunday Ticket on YouTube TV. We watch every Bears game here in East TN.

BTW...I even watched the halftime show. Didn't understand a lot, but didn't hate it.
The day after I read the reviews, and understand more about the statements made.
