    Wild Weather in the Heartland!

Since Thursday we have had massive Thunderstorms, Tornados, and torrential rain. This is a Hail Stone that fell at my Brother's place during a Supercell Thunderstorm on the other side of the County we live in, far West Kentucky this afternoon...

Life is a balancing act, enjoy every day, "later" will come sooner than you think. Denying yourself joy now betting you will have health and money to enjoy life later is a bad bet.

You can hide but you can't run......Hope you got a sturdy storm shelter! Although my brother and his wife ran. They moved from NE Arkansas to NMex just after those storms hit. And now I see the Little Rock area is going to get flooding rains.

Last week a friend of mine flew to Indiana for work. He knew weather was coming so he got a parking spot for his Bonanza inside a hangar. That only helped a little....

We have had over 13 inches of rain since Wednesday and it is still raining. If it can flood, it is flooded, fortunately we live on high ground.

I'm camped in central Georgia and have some light digging to do today in preparation of that same system moving in. When I arrived here Tuesday the buds on the trees where JUST starting to open and with 90? degrees temps all week all the trees are darn near fully leafed out!

With the front passing sometime tonight or early tomorrow the night time low tomorrow is supposed to drop into the upper 30's, can't say I've ever seen such a radical shift as I've seen this last week. Temperatures, sure but with everything else considered this is just nuts.

I hope they brought a few rain barrels with them.......full barrels that is. We see rain all the time, but it doesn't hit the ground.
