      Cooking hot here too Steve, but got out for an early morning Mtn bike ride. Lots of people out wearing red today. Happy Canada.

              Well spotted, Carter.
              It's a 1229 kitted motor. I bought it mostly finished 10? years ago from a guy in Florida who had bought it 10? years before that from the builder in New Hampshire.

                        With a top end oiler? How'd you fit the intake cam under the tank?
                        1982 GS1100E V&H "SS" exhaust, APE pods, 1150 oil cooler, 140 speedo, 99.3 rear wheel HP, black engine, '83 red

                        2016 XL883L sigpic Two-tone blue and white. Almost 42 hp! Status: destroyed, now owned by the insurance company. The hole in my memory starts an hour before the accident and ends 24 hours after.
