Happy Birthday to the great Canadian ever.

I was around 14 years old when he came through my hometown of Woodstock Ontario....what a true legend.

Terry Fox ran the equivalent of a marathon (approximately 42 kilometers or 26 miles) nearly every day during his "Marathon of Hope" across Canada. He ran for 143 consecutive days, covering 5,373 kilometers before his cancer returned and forced him to stop near Thunder Bay, Ontario.

Over $900 million has been raised worldwide in Terry Fox's name for cancer research through the Terry Fox Foundation and related events, according to the Terry Fox Foundation. The annual Terry Fox Run, held in Canada and internationally, is the primary fundraising mechanism.

There's something inspiring about a Great ever.
        1983 GS 1100 Guided Laser
        1983 GS 1100 G
2000 Suzuki Intruder 1500, "Piggy Sue"
2000 GSF 1200 Bandit (totaled in deer strike)
1986 Suzuki Cavalcade GV 1400 LX (SOLD)

I find working on my motorcycle mildly therapeutic when I'm not cursing.

Tough crowd, Trev. Buncha grammar Nazis. When I was a kid, we didn’t have HBO, but my grandparents did. When I was 12-13, I’d stay at their house sometimes and would watch just about anything just because it was on HBO. I would watch some movies over and over. The Terry Fox Story became one of my favorites. And I haven’t thought about it much since then til you just brought it up. The HBO original “The Terry Fox Story: Heart of a Champion”1983 isn’t available on HBO Max in the US , I did find a version on YouTube that looks like it was a bootleg copy filmed from a TV screen in 1983. Think I’m going to watch it later. I looked on IMDB and the lead, Eric Fryer, has no other acting credits. I find that odd.
