Coffee withdrawals

Decaf coffee doesn't legally have to have much less caffeine so you never know what you're getting. Also the caffeine is stripped using some pretty nasty chemicals so I always go "full fat" or nothing....

Nothing but High octane for me, a min. of 24-36 oz. Sleep like a babe. At my age ya need a little help to get going.

Im pretty sure I was having coffee caffeine withdrawals, pretty much back to my old self. After drinking some coffee this morning.

I wasn't trying to stop drinking coffee just took a few days off.

But now I want to get off the stuff, but I now know its not going to be easy!

I must be one of those people who has a problem stopping, a real bad problem evidently, I had a few horrible days , wouldn't have ever thought it could possibly be that rough.

Jeez coffee , I would have never thought .

Caffeine shrinks blood vessels, and can reduce the throbbing effect of certain types of headaches. Some headache meds contain caffeine, such as Excedrin and Anacin.


As an aside, for many years I suffered migraines, often wakening up with one. Coffee most definitely helped. In the end, my migraine problem was solved by sinus surgery. I encourage anyone that suffers morning headaches to get checked out. Fluid pools at night, when you are laying down. I had what was termed a "chronic" sinus infection. Many people have them; where the infection never really goes away.
