Not being a big baseball (or any sport) fan, all I can say is that it was a big event in my father's life when the Dodgers left Brooklyn. I've read about it, and my Dad confirmed, that it was a black day, mass mourning for many Brooklyn natives.

2016 XL883L sigpic Two-tone blue and white. Almost 42 hp! Status: destroyed, now owned by the insurance company. The hole in my memory starts an hour before the accident and ends 24 hours after.

Impressive performances by both pitchers last night.

Started a bit rough early for Yamamoto but he was able to get through without too much damage.

Then, Yoshi got into a zone and finished the game.

The bats woke up for the Dodgers to help offset the stress of pitching a complete game.

The next 3 games are in LA and in consecutive days: M/T/W

        Good luck to both teams.

        Go Dodgers!

And people say baseball takes too long....Ha!

Just watching ESPN now to get the highlights. I'll watch the condensed version later.

Ohtani reach base 9 times. First time since 1900 a player did that.

He also has to pitch today's game. Hope he gets to sleep in.

OOhhh, didn't know he was Canadian... Glad he isn't on the GSR, he'd possibly have never came down here to play for us (U.S.). Still wishing good luck to the Blue Jays, just not hardly as good as to the Dodgers... Isn't 18 innings 2 games, shouldn't we be awarded 2 wins for last night (well this morning). We should be up 3 to 1.
