A show I really enjoyed unfortunately was only on for one season .... Tony Curtis and Roger Moore in " The Persuaders " .... Curtis drove a Ferrari and Moore drove an Aston Martin ......

McGarret (Hawaii Five-0) had the phone in his car. And CHIPs was gay (not that there's anything wrong with that).

How can you beat Route 66? Ran for four seasons, had three C1s (60, 61 & 62) and two C3s (63 & 64), all convertibles.

Let's not leave out our neighbors to the north, I remember "Sgt Preston of the Yukon" and Yukon King, every Saturday morning... Not sure about his auto but remember a really nice dog sled

Aside from the politically incorrect paint job, Bo & Luke and Starsky & Hutch were missing something important from their cars - a clutch pedal.

Some (unfortunately not all) of the Route 66 Vettes were stick shifts. And Bronson always rode a 4 speed.

I rode what were the still-identifiable parts of Route 66 from Chicago into Oklahoma

In late teens and early twenties my closest friend and I lived through escapades that were similar to that show,

I loved these shows (and trucks ) of the late 70s and 80s.
Of course the already mentioned A-Team.
The Fall Guy and his GMC Sierra.
Lone Wolf McQuade with his undead Ram Charger.
Simon and Simon Dodge Power Wagon.

Speaking of cars , when I was a teen and really getting into the car scene, walking through the house and rerun of bewitched was on t.v.

Durwood rolling up in a SS , thoight that was cool ,first time I started paying attention to cars in t.v shows, still do !

While confirming my memory found pic of it and Samantha and Tabitha in SS camaro

In mid 80's bought a first generation Honda civic for 50 bucks that previous owner rattle can painted it like the starsky and hutch car , it wasn't a good paint job but from 40 foot not bad .
