    Martha Stewart: mechanical advisor.

Who knew she was into mechanics?

Here is a Martha Stewart article on how to defeat rusted bolts:
    (and it works !)

When it's a steel bolt into an aluminum thread (especially), there is one thing that always works. Heat the aluminum, and put an ice cube on the steel. Shrinkage! Works for steel/steel of course. I don't give a RAT's about Martha Stewart and all the emotions the mention of her name may bring out, but I do care about motorcycle maintenance, and sharing tips, so I thought I'd share - heat, tap, penetrant, impact, ice. I have never lost a battle, and man, there have been some battles. Oh - my mom was a better mechanic than I'll ever be.
