Some friends of mine out of Detroit have an ongoing surf punk art project they've been doing for 20 years now. Dick Dale (amongst others) highly influenced their music and Dick has been quoted as saying they're one of the best bands he's ever seen. Unfortunately they don't have any videos with decent sound to back them up, the stage act really needs to be seen to be appreciated! The Amino Acids-Lost Coordinate https://youtu.be/ddmW4Jn7MBo

Heard this today for the first time. I used the Soundhound app to figure out who it was.

The absolute LOUDEST concert I ever saw was Judas Priest in 1984, Rob Halford rode on to the stage with a 100% chromed out Lowrider, including the frame and tanks!

Here's one from when Lemmy Kilmeister was just another one of the boys in the band. They've been a revolving door of musicians that still gets together under the same name!

This one has been a real disappointment in the fact it never took off, the world's loudest silent movie, made to be watched standing up!

Lemmy was amazing, one of my rock hero's, the early 70's to late 70's was amazing for the sheer amount of bands touring, i couldn't afford to see all the bands that passed through Liverpool back then, but it seemed like 2-3 really huge bands every week or so. But i got to see some of the best never to be seen again, AC/DC with Bon Scott, Lynyrd Skynyrd with Ronnie Van Zant, on the Pronounced? tour i think?? Good times, Sabbath, Lizzy, UFO, Bad Co, Budgie, to many to name, good times man.

Regarding Sabbath, it’s pretty much impossible to overstate their influence on bands to follow, particularly in the stoner / doom genre I like so much.
I saw Motörhead a few times, always a solid show with the best intro by Lemmy “we are Motörhead. We play rock and roll”’.

Yeah, a decent band with access to projector and screen could easily pull that one off, which was the idea for it from the beginning. The night before it's premier in Paris there was a terrorist bombing which shut the show down the following night. Some friends of mine got together and started to rehearse but it never happened, typical when too many ego's clash.
