That's cool. I mean, riding an early '80's 11E in this day and age is cool, but an original ('73-'75) Z1 is even cooler. And the paint and badges on the old Kaw are miles ahead of the paint and decals on my 11EZ.1982 GS1100E V&H "SS" exhaust, APE pods, 1150 oil cooler, 140 speedo, 99.3 rear wheel HP, black engine, '83 red

Me and a buddy met him many years ago in Yakima Washington when we were riding there in the middle of nowhere, we saw this guy standing by his camper and there was a 900 Cowie so I said we gotta turn around and meet this guy sat there with him. He gave us a couple of beers. He wanted us to wait until his wife got there because she couldn’t understand his obsession with this Kawasaki when everybody else in the country loves Harleys, he’s been up to my house several times since over the years and I’ve been to his place too great guyNo signature :(Comment

Just bought another GS this weekend, a 1982 GS1100G. Came with a clear windscreen installed on the bars. I recently installed a Puig smoked windscreen that mounts to the headlight bracket on the 1980 GS850GL I have owned for 10 years.
