    Later note:
    Oh, and the scene is Lake Michigan horizon, and sandy beach, with sea gulls sitting around.

    I had lined the bike up perpendicular to the setting sun, so could look straight thru under the carbs at the setting sun. But that presented some difficultys. So was looking for a way to partly shade the sun. Ended up looking thru the under tank/carb gap at quite an angle. I liked that could see the cylinder fins, could see multiple carb bowls, also like that avoided the clutch cable that seemed like was a distraction when looking straight thru.

                    Starting at the front, I see. Logical.
                    1982 GS1100E V&H "SS" exhaust, APE pods, 1150 oil cooler, 140 speedo, 99.3 rear wheel HP, black engine, '83 red

                    2016 XL883L sigpic Two-tone blue and white. Almost 42 hp! Status: destroyed, now owned by the insurance company. The hole in my memory starts an hour before the accident and ends 24 hours after.
