Looks like Bob is the clear winner with the Creepy Cabin in the woods. A second pair of eyes would be welcome.
But I think I can safely call it. Whatcha got for us for Christmas Week, Bob?

In my defence, if the votes haven't been tallied I vote. + - I don't care.

I s'pose you cant tell from the photo that it is/was a gift.
Thats okay, I aint trying to win anymore.

        1980

        That is a Kidosaki KZ002.
        (I had a KZ400 at the time.)
Justin really liked that little bike.
He "ran the wheels off it", well, actaully rode it till the axle wore thru the body till the body was scraping on the ground.
I then made some "bearings" for the axle by popriviting some washers to sheetmetal and then popriviting the sheetmetal to the body. And he rode it more.

Recreation of that photo when grandson about 1 year old, about 2012.

My first thread on here was 30/12/2021, been looking at the bike for a while dealing with the owner, buying a bike in another country sight unseen. My son finally wrestled my XS650 from my hands, had a couple of $'s to spare, hole in my pocket actually, and I wanted to have a vehicle to ride round when I visited in NZ. Also something to work on together in the bike shed when I visited.
Crappy Pic, (slightly edited) of the bike pics the PO sent me. She was a school teacher.

As it was around Christmas time here is my entry

My son got this engine guard for me. A lot less worry about breaking something important when I tip over. Which happens with this bike for some reason....

Even though technically “on vacation” til next Monday, I rode to the office today for annual Christmas Eve Lunch and to receive ham we get every year. Treated the Tiger to a mud bath on some mountain roads, then a good wash. Was crisp but sunny so a nice little ride.
Merry Christmas all. This pic will have to do unless I get any surprises in my stocking tonight.

                        I'll vote for Skull.

Regarding 2013 Gladius 650, a friend saw the ad on CL & told me.
The bike had less 4k miles & was left by a roommate who got a job on the east coast.
His roommate got notice from the landlord that he'd be moving back in, so the bike had to go.
I sold it after putting a battery in it & some used SV forks. Fun zippy bike, but had low grade suspension.

I could do a summation now, but is only 5 submission over 7 posts, so I think we will do okay.

                          >>Later note: I did a summation later, 3rd or 4th post below.

The wife and I were out most of today. Sorry I couldn't do the summation.
We could extend this game for a week due to the holidays. Just an idea.

I like Skull story about buying bike sight unseen in remote loacation, other country no less, and then stuff happened and didin get to bike for almost 2 years.

I like Carter T story about free bike. ANd nice portrait photo in nice pleasant scene.

But for picture for the theme, Richs pic says gift ham to me, maybe because for 12 years I got a turkey from an employeer and then later for another 10 years I got a ham from an employeer...... but I dont think I ever picked it up on motorcyckle.
                              Oh, wait.... wait......
Yah, Bob's pic.....yah, Bobs pic (maybe I should do a summation). Bobs pic, motorcycle at Christmas Tree with other obvious gifts around. Without getting tangled up if Bob ever owned that bike, I'll vote for Bob Baatfam pic.

Later note>> Oh, the StarWars toy would date the photo to maybe 1978 or 79 or 80 or so, so , yah, that could be Bobs photo of his bike and his kids (not Bob being one of the kids like I thought for a while har har har).
