Congratulations Gustovh. That is a cool little bike. Any plans for it?
Thanks guys, that little machine is just a piece of yard art. The tires still hold air and the wheels still turn and the shifter shifts, but the engine is truely, stuck. We just move it around the yard from spot to spot. I believe that it is the only Harley that I will ever own.

I will I’ll have something for you guys later today after my ride.

So I took a 140 mile ride today to deliver a helm that I made. The ride contained 70 miles of I5, 35 each way. So on the return trip on I5 I stopped at one of my favorite rest stops. As I was taking off my helm and jacket I saw 2 fellows at the car next to me, talking in low tones and pointing at my bike. The taller of the two asked the make and the conversation began. It seem that these two were here on holiday from Pakistan, and rode 200cc machines at home. So I asked to take their picture with my bike, the smaller of the two declined but the other fellow was happy to.

That brings us to the challenge this week....Strangers, a picture of a complete stranger with your bike.

          Nice!
This is the opposite of your challenge, a picture of me with a complete stranger's bike. I was in Ireland and saw a fellow dismount and park, and before he walked away I asked if I could get a picture on his bike. He was totally cool about it.
Anyway, tough challenge! I know people will rise to it!

Some strangers comment "nice bike" or something like that in passing.
Some Others that want to talk more.
Neither of which would I have much reason to want to take a picture.
If folks want to talk more, I often ask if they want to guess what year. I have found that is a good way to judge their actual level of interest, or if they are someone who are just looking for someone to be their audience.

THis guy walked over while I was looking to see if might be a sunset at the beach in Muskegon, a couple years ago. He said "Nice bike, what year?", so I asked him if he wants to guess. And he said he thought would be early 80s, and went on telling me what bikes some of his friends had back about then (as if he was knowledgeable about bikes of the time), and then started telling some of their antics down there by the beach, and where he lived then, and where he worked then, and, ... and, .... and...., and, and...... and.... and....
after a while, I got out the camera, and started looking around with the camera, and he got down to look at the bike more, and I did take his picture .... just as he was saying "Oh, its got four carburetors!"

Hey Scott, If you see a little kid walk by with parents and the kid is looking at bike as if is interested. Do what I do, ask the parents if the kid would like to sit on the bike.

Apparently, I don't let strangers near my bikes.
Just scrolled though almost 7000 bike photos, and not one bike/stranger combo.
Lucky for me, it is going to be in the 90s this week, so good riding weather...

I bought a GS 650 from a fellow in Reno who's discription in his Craigs list add read as follows: " rolled this bike out of the garage out of the garage where it has sat for 6 years, killed the 2 Black Widows, and after priming, it sputtered to a rough idel."
