Here is all loaded up as departing for 4 day weekend trip to BrownCounty rally 2018

Here is all loaded up about to depart from Oceanside CA for the ride home to Michigan, May 2019.

Can see have GPS mounted, and have my other all-important-indispensable navigation technology at the ready for final review before departing (select pages of randymcnally maps stapled together) . Can also see the moving truck in process of being loaded.

So with full luggage, and not camping, you can see that these pictures of mine for a long trip dont look much different than would any pictures of a short local ride, other than the GPS mounted.

                            My "creative luggage solution."

So I go to a conference every June, it lasts about four days, and is almost 200 beautiful miles away. Great opportunity to ride some of WV's twisties!
But, I want to have my laptop, and a suit, and my pastor robe, and the kind of clothes I don't just want to roll into a duffel bag to strap onto the bike.
So I got me a rubbermaid bin, and fitted it with a --> brace/frame that allows me to lock it to the luggage rack <--. The straps are there because the bin is not at all aerodynamic. I gave the bin rubber feet as well, so I can remove it from the luggage rack and set it on a hotel room floor without getting the floor nasty. And I put reflective tape on it because I never want a cage driver to be able to say of me, "I didn't see him coming!"
The bin is large and stable enough to put a laptop and a suit and a pastor robe and other things in there without getting all wrinkly, and it's waterproof.

Boy, I thought surely one of the early rising folks in a different time zone would have done this already. I really hope you all are well.

Here are the submissions for this week.
