Me and SonInLaw, 2018, north of Oceanside CA.
Most days then we didn't have a lot to talk about or much to share, but on this day we had a great time together, and had some good talks. This was just a couple months before their child was born.
I know that all that is not contained in the picture to the casual observer, but that is what this picture means to me.

About hour and half later, we come out of coffee shop, and his harley will not start. Instrument panel doing strange stuff. Clicks sometimes but not turnover. After messing around for a while, without having any tools, I slugged the battery box, and then it started. Headed straight back the 50 miles to the house, and had some time in garage together. Found loose connection at battery negative.

I thought I had many group pictures taken on GS rides. But it turns out there aren't a lot with a motorcycle in them. They are mostly a bunch of guys sitting in a restaurant eating.
