              This stray ignitor trigger wire that melted on to the exhaust pipe was the reason the bike wouldn't start one morning in July 2018.
              At that point I just wheeled the bike on to the ramp and started using the XJ again. It was time for a top-end rebuild anyway and this forced me to do something about the dreadful state of the base gasket leaks, the compressions lower than they should be, and just generally tired state of the engine.
              After all that, the sod wouldn't start, and that's when I discovered the melted wire.

                Sadly, she was broken permanently, and I was broken temporarily. This was the same bike from my Tulip Trestle and In Action submissions. The was a high-side on 150 in Indiana between Shoals and French Lick.

                            Never noticed the side stand being down..lol...the bike is laying on it's right side on the ground...went over an embankment.

                                "Broken" is the theme, it's not a tag, so use it as you will.
                                Either works, as does Roger's broken fence.
